Beckman Coulter is a Danaher company, operating in two industries: Diagnostics and Life Sciences.
To support key customers and create new sales opportunities within the Nordic region.
Responsible for meeting assigned sales numbers through meeting or exceeding overall revenue derived from instrument placements, reagent orders and service revenue. The role acts as the primary customer facing company representative both internally and externally.
Internal and external contacts:-
External customers: Predominantly hospital laboratory staff and management
Internal customers: Regional Sales and Service Managers, Business development manager, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, Help Desk and Finance.
Roles & Responsibilities:-
* Aid in tender offers * Drive the agreed sales strategy in the region * Be the primary contact for customers in the Nordics * Arrange and execute contract review meetings * Work to annually updated financial targets within the Nordic region * Management of the sales cycle and sales opportunities * Monitor and report on competitor and market place trends * Ensure retention rate is maintained for current customers * Initiate and maintain contacts with recognised key opinion leaders * Pro-actively maintain existing business base through account management and promotion of products, working with key internal and external contacts * Ensure the sales process is on track at all times * Actively search for new business opportunities * Ensure the 'Voice of the Customer' is promoted to meet customer satisfaction metrics * Participate at regional and internal congresses * Comply with CRM reporting policy
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you must be results orientated with the determination to succeed within a fast paced environment.
The ideal candidate should have the following;
* Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets * Experience in direct selling in a similar field * Demonstrate your ability to work alone and part of a team * BSc or equivalent qualification in a scientific subject or significant experience in a similar role * Experience within the diagnostic laboratory field * An understanding of the Nordic diagnostic market and diagnostic testing in a hospital environment * A proven track record in sales, preferably in core laboratory solutions (chemistry, immunochemistry, haematology) * An understanding of business management systems, including excel, word, PowerPoint and CRM tools * A full driving license * Ability to travel 20-40% * Reside in Sweden * Experience selling through distributors
Experience in public tender procurement is highly merited
