Key Responsibilities

Dell Bank International is looking for a Business Analyst to be the glue that holds together the business and the data science function. The bank is in the process of expanding the Dublin based team with the Bucharest Decision Sciences function. The team is responsible for the development, validation and implementation of credit risk models used by the bank. This includes credit and loss models and their components and the scope will expand into other business areas. The Decision Sciences team is developing end-to-end solutions for predictive modeling based on Microsoft R with SQL Server 2017.

  • Responsible for defining (and obtaining sign-off) business requirements in partnership with the business.

  • Responsible for keeping track of the EMEA Decision Science Roadmap, project task progress.

  • Responsible for defining testing requirements.

  • Articulates identified impacts and risks.

  • Works with the team towards a consistent implementation of processes.

  • Organizes project documentation.

  • Acts as a liaison between IT and Business units to ensure that the “requirements” as set out are met.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant experience working in the Credit Risk Sector (preferably in Banking / Captive Finance Organization).

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills - able to analyze and solve problems.

  • Working knowledge of databases and willingness to learn about data science.

  • Experience in implementation, test planning and User Acceptance Testing definition.

  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to explain complicated or technical information in a simple way to non-technical audiences.

  • Familiar with project management methodologies and experience with JIRA or other project management and issue tracking tools.

  • Good communication skills (Fluent in English) and a strong team player.
