Lead, facilitate and be an active member and supporter of (HPT) High Performance Teams.2. Advocate and take active role in Lean and other Continuous Improvement Projects.3. Assign, monitor, delegate assignments and react to activities throughout the value stream.4. Must assure that Team Improvement boards, Day by Hour boards, etc. are completely filled out on an hourly/daily basis.5. Ensure productivity by fielding questions, ensuring operators are on track and understand work assignments.6. Must regularly lead Kaizen or other problem solving events.7. Be an active participant in the layered audit process.8. Assure all team members are performing and documenting quality checks.9. Capable of delegating work assignments, maintaining work boards, report out on activities within the value stream.10. Capable and willing to perform jobs within the VS in order to fill in for operators during meetings or to cover absences.11. Advocate for Continuous Improvement.12. Serves as a resource and guide team members to achieve VS goals during the shift.13. Accountable to VS metrics such as: Safety, Quality, LISC, Scrap, and Schedule Attainment.14. Responsible for Training including working with team members to develop and maintaining their Skills Matrix.15. Facilitate weekly team meetings.QualificationsEducation required/ preferred:High School diploma or GED required.Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.Experience:Production work preferred but not requiredPreferred Skills/Qualifications:1. Strong analytical and quantitative skills2. Excellent communication skills3. Understand metrics related to business or value stream4. Ability to work overtime when necessarySkills/Competencies:1. Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office package2.
