Ericsson WCDMA RBS Baseband SW Developer in Nanjing, China

Position(s) Purpose:

We, in Ericsson Nanjing, mainly focus on WCDMA RBS Baseband products development and maintenance. Agile development is our chosen way of working. The foundation is our cross functional and ability teams, responsible for feature development including requirements, design and test. Our vision is to build highly empowered and self-organized teams applying Scrum or Kanban methodology.

Responsibilities:

We are now looking for the talents to join us as WCDMA RBS Baseband Software developers. As part of the team, you will be enrolled into the WCDMA RBS development and maintenance, covering the every step in the whole product life cycle chain. You, as a SW designer, will work together with the most talented colleagues to finish the feasibility study, SW design, implementation, integration, troubleshooting and resolving critical technical issues. Meanwhile, you also need to guarantee the product smoothly up and running in the customer site.

  • Understand the WCDMA standard/protocol and radio network functionality
  • Make the WCDMA RBS system/software design solution
  • Implement and verify the solution
  • Handle trouble report from function verification and external customers

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Wireless Communication/Electrical Engineering or relevant.
  • 2+ years' experience in software design of telecom system.
  • Be familiar with WCDMA RBS technology
  • Knowledge of baseband handling and DSP development is preferred.
  • Strong programming skills in the languages, such as C/C++/Java
  • Knowledge on test strategy and theory
  • Open mind and innovative mindset.
  • Ability to work in teams and ability to take initiative work independently.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
