Current Need

Responsible for Contract Administration operational activities supporting the Pharma business unit, totaling approximately $57B annually in contract sales and approximately $48B in chargebacks. Directs multiple teams, made up of 25 employees, in the contract receipt, loading, and chargeback operation areas. Responsible for continued execution on objectives and completion of ongoing business operation activities. Will actively engage with internal teams on process improvements to drive efficiencies and improved chargeback accuracy for the Pharma business. Must be able to influence others and build bench strength, because leadership and development of others is a critical component as a senior leader in the Contract Administration organization.

Position Description

  • Leadthe Pharma Contract Load and Chargeback Operations teams. Responsibilities represent over $57B inannual contract sales; Direct managers for teams regarding all aspects ofcontract loading and chargeback operations.Oversee decisions on administrative and operational matters, and ensuresoperation executes on established objectives consistent with departmentalstrategies set by director, and various strategies of the business unit.

  • Manage relationships through frequentinteractions with manufacturers to address matters concerning contractadministration and chargeback reconciliation; Facilitate cross functionalunderstanding and cooperation through staff engagement and developing effectiveoperational teams; Involved as key stakeholder in contract technologyinitiatives and its impact on financial and operational components for thePharma business unit.

  • Develop and incorporate best practices andissue resolution process through enhancing systems and procedures to supportbusiness needs; Champion new initiatives and act as a catalyst for change;Ensure business processes are in place that point to opportunities to improvebusiness results and/or customer satisfaction; Initiate and implement processre-engineering and develop as appropriate; Sets objectives linked to strategyand appropriate measures to determine operational success.

  • Ensure execution of strategic and operationalpriorities; ensure environment for quick problem solving, customer service, anddecision making. Evaluate processes andidentify opportunities to improve procedures and associated results byimplementing functions that ensure operational excellence and financialsuccess; Develop strong team of managers by coaching and providing appropriatedevelopment opportunities for direct reports; Ensure high quality employeeattraction, engagement and development at all levels, building bench strengththrough modeling of ICARE and development of an effective culture.

  • Maintain an understanding of internal and external customer needs and issues,as well as how business processes affect customer satisfaction; Ensuremeasurements are in place to deliver a high level of quality and responsivenessto business needs; Ensure business processes are in place, which point toopportunities to improve business results by driving down chargeback denialsand contract pricing issues; Drive process improvements that will allow us toachieve our aggressive business goals while at the same time meeting ouremployee and customer satisfaction goals;

Minimum Requirements

3 years contract administration experience

Critical Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or a business related field

  • 3 direct management experience preferably within a largeteam environment including team managers and non-exempt employees.

  • Strongpresentation skills to senior leaders and external business customers

  • MSOffice PowerPoint (Intermediate to Advance); Excel (Intermediate)

  • Demonstratedability to drive results and team performance metrics

  • Experiencein a high volume customer oriented organization

  • Processimprovement experience

  • Strongissue resolution and problem solving experience

Education

4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
